Project Summary

In accordance with FAR 12.301(b), the following is a brief explanation of the award. No other oral or written debriefings will be given. Rationale of Award: Thirteen quotes were received in response to the solicitation. Solicitation provision 52.212-2 provided the evaluation criteria for award. Pursuant to the provision, quotations were evaluated in an efficient and minimally burdensome fashion. The Government evaluated the quotations submitted against the evaluation criteria of Technical Capability and Price. The Government made an award to the offeror who provided the lowest priced technically acceptable quote. Koala Construction and Roofing was the lowest priced quoter who provided a technically acceptable quote and all of the documentation required in the solicitation, including the Bid Bond requirement of solicitation provision 52.228-1.
