Project Summary

This Justification is being published as required by RFO 6.301(a). Under the authority of RFO 6.103-1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), awarded a contract action, on a sole source basis, to Woolpert-RS&H LLC (CAGE 7JG89)("Designer of Record, or "DOR"). The contract was awarded in the amount of $632,436.63. This sole-source contract action acquires architect-engineer (A-E) design and construction support services from the DOR, related to the repair of Building 31 Roof, Bays I-M, at Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR). The services acquired shall be completed in accordance with all applicable engineering requirements and consistent with the design intent reflected in the construction documents previously prepared by the DOR. The work performed under the contract action constitutes a continuation of services previously performed by the DOR to ensure consistent application of the DOR’s design intent and to maintain DOR responsibility over the construction documents. The redacted Justification and Approval document for this project has been attached. The construction contract for this project will be a separate procurement at a later date.
